Your Nightly Prayer

Evil will fight, but so does the Light within us.

What does walking in the light mean?

Your Shepherd knows every issue in your heart, and you can trust the One in charge.

One day, all will be made well.

Receiving forgiveness isn’t pretending our choices don’t matter; it’s believing Jesus when He says His grace is enough.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

True discipleship begins with a heart that is quiet and attentive to others out of Christ's love for them.

We can speak the truth gently. We can love faithfully. We can pray continually. We can seek wise support.

Unchangeable. God never changes. He is all-loving, caring, knowing, powerful, faithful, truthful, and more.

Humility is not abdication of our identity, calling, or wishes.

Lead me through this darkness, You who are the Light of the world.

Jesus, everything we are afraid of, even the darkness, is already afraid of you.

As David reminds us in Psalm 23, the Lord is ultimately our Shepherd, and as our good Shepherd, He calls earthly shepherds to serve Him by caring for His sheep.

We learn patience from situations where we must be patient, and we learn faith and trust in situations where we must actively feel that trust in our hearts.
