There’s much we learn about the events of Jesus’ brutal treatment during His sacrifice on the cross in the gospels. But in Today’s Word Pastor Brett Meador points out the various Old Testament prophesies fulfilled at the cross as well. Paying a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could not pay is what Jesus was able to lovingly claim by saying “It is finished.”
